Open My Computer on your desktop or in the start menu
Click on Tools on the menu bar
Click the bottom menu entry Folder Options...
Click the second tab VIEW
Under Files and Folders the eighth line down shows Hidden Files and folders
Click the radio button (circle) next to Show hidden files and folders then click OK
